Is a diesel filter the same as an fuel water separator?

Diesel filters are not the same as fuel water separators. The function of the diesel filter is to filter out harmful impurities and moisture in the fuel system, protect the normal operation of the engine, reduce wear, avoid blockage, and improve engine life. The fuel water separator for automobiles is a kind of fuel filter. The common faults and troubleshooting methods of diesel filters are as follows:

If the hand pump is not oiled, it may be due to poor cleanliness and large particles of impurities, which may cause the impurities to stick to the check valve and cause the check valve to fail, thus causing the pump oil to fail. Remove the hand oil pump and clean all parts; oil, replace the filter.
