Install the spin-on oil filter

1. If recommended by the engine manufacturer, the oil can be injected into the filter in advance through the dirty oil inlet hole. Never allow oil to spill into the center tube from the clean oil outlet.
2. Apply a thin layer of oil on the surface of the new filter seal, do not use grease (butter).
3. To avoid the wrong thread of the filter, carefully align the thread of the filter with the mounting seat. Rotate the new filter until the seal fits into the mount.
4. According to the installation instructions on the filter, tighten the filter until the specified tightening torque is reached.
Do not over-tighten.
5. Check the sealing ring of the new filter to ensure that it is fixed in the sealing ring groove. Note: Not all filters require tool replacement.

After installation.

1. Confirm that the oil reaches the highest position of the oil level pointer.
2. Start the engine to check for leaks at the oil filter and drain valve. If oil leakage is observed, take appropriate action to correct it.
3. Stop the machine and recheck the fluid level, and add oil if necessary. Dispose of your used oil and filter properly in accordance with local, national or federal regulations.
