How to replace the safety filter element?

Incorrect installation of the air filter element and failure to replace/maintain the air filter element in time will cause serious damage to your engine. The result will be: cylinder wear, early wear of piston rings, insufficient vehicle power, increased maintenance costs, and severely will greatly shorten the life of the engine, or even scrap it.

How to maintain the air filter daily?.

1. Check whether the nut used to fix the filter element is tightened;
2. Check whether all connecting pipes between the air filter and the engine are sealed;
3. Check whether the dust exhaust valve keeps vertical downwards;

When to replace the safety filter element (inner filter element)?

1. The safety filter element cannot be cleaned;
2. The safety filter element should be replaced when the main filter element is discolored or damaged, installed improperly or has been replaced 3 times;
3. If the safety filter element is very clean, do not loosen the nut or mess up the gasket of the safety filter element when unnecessary;

How to replace the safety filter

1. Before replacing the safety filter element, first confirm whether the nut is tight, and do not loosen the nut; (Figure 1)
2. Wipe clean all the dust in the air filter housing that may fall from the safety filter element (compressed air cannot be used for cleaning)
3. Before installing the new safety filter element, wipe the installation surface of the filter element with a clean damp cloth
4. Install a new safety filter element

How to replace the horizontal air filter?

When replacing the air filter element of the horizontal air filter assembly, you must hold the new air filter element with your hands, keep it level and put it in slowly, and confirm the seal. Pay special attention to the improper installation and the sealing problem of the filter element.
