The oil-water separator for trucks is an instrument that separates diesel oil and water, which can reduce the failure of fuel injectors and prolong the service life of the engine. Its working principle is mainly based on the density difference between water and fuel oil, using the principle of gravity sedimentation to remove impurities and water. If there is water or impurities in the diesel oil that are not filtered cleanly, it will cause wear and tear on the plunger pair in the fuel injection nozzle and cause strain until the fuel injector is stuck.

03 The engine emits white smoke
When the oil-water separator is damaged, it will cause the engine to emit white smoke, because the water in the fuel will turn into water vapor when it is burned, which will cause white smoke. The water vapor in the white smoke will damage the high-pressure fuel injector, resulting in insufficient engine power, which will cause sudden stoppage, and in severe cases will directly damage the engine.
