How does the hand pump exhaust air? How to put water in the filter? How to vent the oil circuit?

Oil-water separator exhaust and drainage, also known as: low-pressure oil circuit air intake, oil circuit exhaust air, diesel filter air discharge, fuel filter element water discharge, filter cup water discharge, diesel filter water discharge, diesel grid water discharge, hand oil pump water discharge; vehicle oil input Air, hand oil pump pump oil, etc.

Fault phenomenon: the engine is difficult to start, the engine is not running smoothly, it is easy to turn off the engine during driving, and the precipitated water indicator light is on.

1. The air and pump oil in the high-pressure oil circuit (from the fuel injection pump to the fuel injector) can be removed by the starter motor. Do not loosen the pipe nuts on the fuel pump end, the fuel rail end and the fuel injector end. , to avoid high pressure injury.

2. For the air and pump oil in the low-pressure oil circuit (from the oil tank to the oil pump pipeline), the following methods can be used

Oil-water separator exhaust treatment method:

1. Park the vehicle in a safe and flat place and open the fuel tank cap;

2. Find the position of the oil-water separator, and unscrew the exhaust bolt on the top of the filter element in a counterclockwise direction (usually a hexagon socket)

3. Operate the handle of the hand oil pump reciprocatingly for about 30 times until the fuel overflows at the exhaust bolt and there are no air bubbles.

4. Quickly and carefully tighten the exhaust bolt in a clockwise direction, as shown in step 2.

5. After exhausting the fuel system, start the engine.

6. If the engine does not start within 10 seconds, repeat steps 2 to 4.

Oil-water separator drainage treatment method:

  1. Find the position of the oil-water separator and place the container (with a capacity of about 0.2L) under the drain plug of the oil-water separator

8. Carefully loosen the water discharge cock in a counterclockwise direction, and continue to discharge water for about 10 seconds.

9. After the water is drained, tighten the drain cock clockwise, and then inject fuel according to the operations from steps 2 to 4.

10. After starting the engine, check whether the fuel leaks out through the drain cock. At the same time, check whether the fuel filter indicator light is off, if not, repeat the drainage operation process.
