Fuel filter

In fact, the fuel filter must be replaced every 30,000 kilometers under normal use. If the fuel impurity content is large, the driving distance should be shortened accordingly. But in general, we recommend replacing it every 20,000 kilometers. For the best replacement time, please refer to the instructions in the vehicle manual_.
Usually, the replacement of the fuel filter is carried out when the car is undergoing major maintenance, and the air filter and oil filter are replaced at the same time. But in reality, it can be appropriately extended according to the situation of the car engine, because the current gasoline production technology level is relatively high, and the process from production to sales is relatively closed. Kilometers are no problem.
At present, there are two kinds of domestic gasoline: ethanol gasoline and ethanol-free gasoline. Ethanol gasoline has a certain cleaning effect, and the gasoline filter element of vehicles that often add ethanol gasoline has a relatively long service life. For example, there are many people around me who have run hundreds of thousands of kilometers and have not changed. The fuel tank of ethanol-free gasoline is easy to deposit impurities. When changing to ethanol gasoline, ethanol is easy to dissolve the impurities and block the gasoline filter. This needs attention. Many cars are prone to blockage symptoms after returning from other places to add ethanol gasoline for a period of time, and it is difficult for inexperienced maintenance masters to find the problem.
Sometimes the vehicle fails to start for the first time, and the second start is normal, mostly because of the gasoline filter. The filtering effect is poor, the force is reduced, and it cannot provide enough pressure to the fuel injector, resulting in poor gasoline atomization. However, when the oil pump is started again for the second time, the pressure can be normal and it can be started. Therefore, when the vehicle is difficult to start and cannot be ruled out after replacing the spark plugs and other parts, it can be considered the problem of the gasoline filter. In fact, when it is difficult to start, you can first check the problem of the gasoline filter, because the spark plug is not so easy to damage. Don’t just change it once you come up, it’s a waste of money.
