What is the function of the engine fuel filter?

The function of the engine fuel filter is to filter out the solid impurities (iron oxide and dust, etc.) contained in the fuel, so as to protect the oil pump nozzle, cylinder liner and piston ring, which can not only greatly reduce wear and tear, It also avoids blockages. There are three types of fuel filters, namely diesel filter, gasoline filter and natural gas filter, which are connected in series on the pipeline between the fuel pump and the inlet of the throttle body. The fuel filter is also one of the consumables of the car. In order to ensure the effective protection of the filter, usually the car needs to be replaced every 10,000 to 20,000 kilometers.
