What is the difference between a fuel filter and an oil filter?

Both the filter and the oil filter are filters in function, but they are very different in structure.

The function of the fuel filter is to filter the gasoline, so that the gasoline entering the engine is free of debris and cleaner; the function of the oil filter is to filter the impurities in the engine lubricating oil system to prevent the engine from wearing; these two types of filter elements have relatively similar effects on the engine. big.

1. Fuel filter

There are three types of fuel filters: diesel filters, gasoline filters and natural gas filters. Its function is to filter out harmful particles and water in the fuel gas system of the engine to protect the oil pump nozzle, cylinder liner, piston ring, etc., reduce wear and avoid blockage.

At present, most engines are equipped with a one-time non-removable filter element gasoline filter, the replacement cycle is generally 10,000km. When replacing the filter, pay attention to the arrow marks on the oil inlet and outlet of the filter. Do not reverse the filter when changing it.

The recommended replacement interval for a fuel filter should vary according to its own construction, performance and use.

2. Oil filter
