How to maintain the primary fuel filter of heavy truck？

1. Regularly and actively discharge water
The primary fuel filter is mainly used to filter the water in the fuel. After long-term use, the water separated from the fuel will accumulate in the water cup of the primary fuel filter. When the water content in the water cup reaches the alarm line of the water level sensor, the vehicle will give a water in fuel alarm. Therefore, it takes half a month or one month to regularly waterproof the primary fuel filter.
2. Replace the filter element on time
Replacing the filter element is an important part of the “minor maintenance” of the vehicle. It should be ensured that the inside is not dirty, but it is not recommended that you replace it yourself. You should regularly go to the service station to replace it according to the maintenance manual.

3. Pump oil exhaust
In daily driving, the card users have more or less encountered the problem of starting difficulties. There are many reasons for starting difficulties, and the gas in the low-pressure pipeline is one of the main reasons. It is difficult to start the non leaking intake air, so it is necessary to exhaust the gas from the system and the primary fuel filter acts as the pump oil exhaust. When the vehicle is difficult to start, you can first try to pump oil and exhaust:
For electric pump products, power on to make the electric pump work; For hand pump products, press the hand pump until there is no obvious bubble in the engine oil return pipe. If the vehicle starts normally after exhaust and there is no obvious bubble in the fuel pipe after idling for a period of time, the problem is solved.
