Where is the fuel filter located?

The fuel filter is located in: 1. the fuel tank; 2. Oil pipe connection of vehicle chassis. The gasoline filter is divided into diesel filter, gasoline filter and natural filter. The function of the fuel filter is to filter harmful particles and moisture in the engine fuel gas system, protect the oil pump nozzle, cylinder liner and piston ring, reduce wear, avoid blockage, remove iron oxide, dust and other solid impurities contained in the fuel, reduce mechanical wear, and ensure stable operation of the engine. The structure of the fuel injector is composed of an aluminum shell and a bracket with stainless steel inside. The bracket is equipped with efficient filter paper, which is chrysanthemum shaped to increase the flow area.

1. External fuel filter

The external fuel filter is easy to maintain, just loosen the oil pipe connected to the fuel filter and the screw fixing the fuel filter. But the new filter is equipped with two rubber hoses, which connect the automobile oil circuit and the fuel filter. When replacing the fuel filter, it should be replaced together with the fuel pipe to avoid aging and deterioration of the rubber hose, which may cause fuel leakage.

2. Built in fuel filter

The fuel filter installed in the fuel tank is connected to the gasoline pump when servicing the fuel system. It is impossible to replace the gasoline pump, fuel filter and fuel output device during regular maintenance. The cost is too high. When the fuel system fails, it is necessary to remove the fuel pump, fuel filter and fuel output device to check the failure point.
