Paper filter element

The fuel enters the inner cavity of the oil filter cartridge, and then flows to the fuel injection pump through the oil collecting cavity on the filter base. The filter base is equipped with a return connector and an overflow valve. When the fuel pressure in the fuel filter exceeds 0.08MPa, the excess fuel returns to the fuel tank through the return connector. The low-pressure fuel pipe shall be connected in the direction of the arrow on the seat, and shall not be connected incorrectly. The sealing washer at the bottom of the filter element is installed in the spring seat, and the spring tightly sticks the sealing washer to the bottom of the nut for sealing. The filter base is connected with the shell by a pull rod, and is sealed by a rubber ring. The upper end of the filter base is provided with a bleed screw, which can be loosened during use to remove the air in the fuel filter.

Vehicle engines are basically internal combustion engines, mainly using gasoline and diesel fuels. As a fuel, there must be certain requirements for the quality and cleanliness of oil. Due to refining and processing, the finished fuel contains a certain amount of impurities, moisture and gum. The function of the fuel filter is to filter out these impurities in the fuel and supply clean fuel to the engine. If the fuel is poorly filtered, the impurities in the gasoline are easy to block the small orifices in the carburetor, causing the carburetor to work poorly and the combustible mixture to become thin; The impurities in the diesel oil enter the fuel injection pump, which is easy to accelerate the wear of precision parts and reduce the pump oil pressure. If the water and gum in the fuel enter the cylinder, it will cause poor combustion of the combustible mixture and reduce the power of the engine. Generally, the gasoline filter has only one stage, which is installed between the gasoline tank and the gasoline pump or between the gasoline pump and the carburetor. As there are three precision coupling parts in the diesel engine supply system, which require a high degree of diesel fuel cleanliness, and the diesel fuel has a high gum content, in order to improve the filtering efficiency, diesel filters generally have two or more stages, which are divided into diesel coarse and fine filters, also known as oil-water separator and diesel fine filter. They are respectively installed between the diesel tank and the fuel transfer pump, and between the fuel transfer pump and the fuel injection pump. Some diesel engines are also equipped with sediment cups to precipitate water and impurities in the diesel.
